Our four operating rooms (ORs) are another outstanding example of our commitment to quality. All operating suites are 30 percent larger than an average operating room. Two of the operating suites are used for heart surgery. A third suite offers the latest treatments for peripheral vascular disease. The fourth suite contains Austin's only hybrid OR, combining an operating room and a cardiac catheterization laboratory. By introducing new technologies and leading-edge procedures, Heart Hospital of Austin remains on the cutting edge of today's innovative cardiovascular care.
